Bella Italia Guest House provides 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation in central Cape Town. It is ideally located in the City Bowl, close to Cape Town City Centre's bustling night life and is a convenient 15 minutes from the Cape Town International Airport. The guesthouse is situated on the gentle slopes of Table Mountain, overlooking Table Bay and the glittering lights of the Peninsula, it offers affordable accommodation near Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
Bella Italia is ideally positioned between the highways into and out of the Cape Town CBD city centre which makes it really convenient to get around to all the beautiful attractions that Cape Town has to offer. We are situated in the Eastern City Bowl in the quiet residential suburb of University Estate - on the gentle slopes of Table Mountain overlooking the suburbs of Woodstock / Salt River / Observatory – the NEW CBD of Cape Town.
So many National and Corporate Businesses are re-locating into our neighbourhood making perfect for business and pleasure!
In Searle Street you have Clicks / Body Shop / Musica Head Office, White House and Boulevard Park which is the Insurance Hub of Cape Town with Alexander Forbes, Swiss Re, Lion of Africa, Zurich and Marsh. Medscheme, Sea Harvest, BDO, Y & R, Baker Street, Cecil Nurse and Web Africa are also here.
Also in this area and in the Main Road is the famous Goodman Gallery, Hi Tech, The Stardust Theatre, White House, Cycle Works, Old Mutual, Hi Forest Flooring, Core, Lavazzo, St Leger & Viney, H & M, Sir Juice, The Deli, The Kitchen (famous for serving lunch to Michelle Obama), Beauty Fires, Bedroom Basics, The Fabric House, Colcacchio Holdings, The Best Blind Co, Banks, Petals – literally 100's of interesting shops and businesses to visit.
In the Main Road is The Palms Centre – the décor Hub of the Area with Coricraft, Midas Paints. Every Saturday there is a fantastic Farmers food and craft market here – indoors so weather doesn’t matter - a must do! Lots of other interesting businesses and shops to visit - décor, furniture, blinds, fabric – fantastic!
On the other end of this area next to the Salt River Circle is the Old Biscuit Mill – fascinating chi chi shops and eating places – next to the Biscuit Mill the entire Lower Main Road is full of interesting shops that need to be trawled in search of bargains and interesting décor ideas.
Two blocks up is the Bromwell Boutique Mall – The Bread Restaurant here is absolutely fabulous – daily freshly baked breads and cakes to die for - Nathaniel's food influences definitely reign here! The whole of the upstairs is reminiscent of when the Bromwell was an Hotel many years ago and everything is for sale – at very reasonable prices.
Next door to the Bromwell is the Woodstock Grill – the most amazing beer and steak – brewed and aged on the premises!
